Company history
Keane created a Healthcare Solutions Division (HSD) in 1975 to expand its technical and management capabilities to the healthcare industry.

The decision to offer software and services to the Long-Term Care industry was built on Keane's in-depth involvement in the day-to-day operations of hospitals and the resulting understanding of the healthcare industry and its unique demands.

Keane Care: Long-Term Care Solutions
Keane Care, the Long-Term Care unit of Keane's Healthcare Solutions Division, was formed in 2000 with Keane's acquisition of CARE Computer Systems when its CEO and founder retired. CARE was the first company to bring computer automation to the nursing home industry and was the recognized leader in the field.

The acquisition brought together Keane's LTC software unit with CARE, combining shared core values and a heritage of delivering excellent products.

Our Software Products
The resulting VistaKEANE windows-based software product line was well-accepted, with Keane Care's client base growing to more than 4000 LTC sites.

Since then, Keane Care has continuously enhanced its system per client requests and regulatory changes. We have also developed partnerships with specialty vendors to offer our clients products such as CareTracker, Staff Scheduling, and Keane Analytics.

Our next generation of software, Keane NetSolutions, a browser-based system built with VistaKEANE features and functions was released in 2005 and 2006.
