Keane's Healthcare Solutions Division Launches ASP Offering For Long-Term Care Software.
VistaKEANE eHost ServicesTM Provides Clients With Cost Effective Choice.
Leading business and information technology (IT) consulting firm Keane, Inc. (AMEX: KEA), today announced that its Healthcare Solutions Division (HSD) has launched VistaKEANE eHost Services, an ASP offering of the company's proprietary financial and patient care applications for long-term care facilities. VistaKEANE eHost Services provides nursing homes and long term care facilities access to Keane's suite of resident care and financial applications for a fixed monthly fee.
"Healthcare organizations struggle with the need for information technology resources to effectively run their businesses while faced with the reality of limited capital budgets to fund these initiatives," explained Alan Gottlieb, vice president, Keane Healthcare Solutions Division. "VistaKEANE eHost Services provides users with an option to take advantage of our leading software solutions at a low, fixed cost that doesn't require a significant initial investment."
The ASP model provides a proven, effective IT solution that enables organizations to utilize Keane's proprietary application software without start-up costs or equipment purchases. With the new service, Keane's applications can be accessed from any web-enabled computer. Keane's Data Center in Bellevue, Washington hosts the servers, which are accessed by a private frame relay network for utmost security. A subscription to VistaKEANE eHost Services includes access to Keane's Long-Term Care software, upgrades to the software as issued, access to the Data Center and network, and 24 hour user support services.
"VistaKEANE eHost Services is designed to provide a choice for our clients," stated Gottlieb. Now we can provide an attractive "rental" option that offers our applications, top notch service and upgrades, all at a fixed cost," he concluded.
