VistaKEANE Resident Account Management 2.1 Released.

Highlights of the enhancements included in RAM 2.1:

Census

Fields were added to the Hold Bed window to collect information on hospital and personal leaves.
Advance Directives now can be printed on the face sheet.
Two new Census reports were added: Census Daily Statistics (shows census and statistical data for individual units within a Business Unit) and Census Daily Activity (shows transactions for the day grouped by category).

Billing Features

RAM now accommodates some Medicare intermediaries that require one cumulative no-pay bill.
With a new menu option, a single Medicare no-pay bill can be marked as ready for printing.
A new feature allows a co-payment to be covered by two different payors. It handles situations such as a coinsurance payment at 80 percent with a deductible of $200.
The option of Some Residents was added to the existing options of One Resident and All Residents, on the Generate Charges window.

Accounts Receivable

RAM now allows posting of payments and/or denial codes to billing cycles smaller than an AR period.
A column was added to the Payor Totals page of the AR Ledger report to show totals for all payors.
An option was added to export data from RAM to the PeopleSoft General Ledger product.

Profiles

An Allergies profile was added under Profiles/Census.
Billfields for Non-covered Charge were added to the Medicare UB92 V060 electronic bill specification.

System Improvements

In the new Purge Account Parameters window you enter the number of months you wish to retain data.
A new table was created in Menus-Master to preserve users' custom menus.
RAM was modified to accept revised PPS RUG levels when implemented by CMS.
