Keane Care is pleased to announce that by using Tablet personal computers (PCs), all VistaKEANE clients can benefit from portable, point-of-service computing.

Tablet PCs are laptops that are smaller in size but not in capacity. With VistaKEANE software and a tablet PC with a wireless connection the data entered from throughout the building is available to the network in real time.

No need to learn new software versions - use your VistaKEANE software to complete an MDS assessment, register a resident, update a care plan, chart therapy minutes…

Instead of a keyboard or mouse you can use a stylus to select a check box or choose from a dropdown menu. Tablet PCs can be hand held or locked down on a cart.

Tablet PCs also mean a resident's history and information is available at the bedside. As with all VistaKEANE software, access is protected by password security.

When tablet PCs use a wireless real-time connection to your network, no extra steps are required to upload data.
