Record attendance at annual Keane Client Conference in Las Vegas.

"Great conference!" sums up the comments of Long-Term Care attendees about the 2005 Keane Client Conference.

The annual event, held this year in Las Vegas, drew 116 attendees, representing 650+ Long-Term and Post-Acute facilities nationwide. It is an opportunity for peers from across the country to get together to network and learn more about their Keane Care systems.

One attendee took the time to tell us that "I have to say this year's conference exceeded my expectations. Each year not only does the conference get better, but Keane continues to press forward enhancing their products to meet the users' needs."

As always, networking with peers was a valuable benefit. We heard from one attendee that "the best value was working with other clients, for information, challenges, and potential resolutions." The heart of the conference is the educational sessions.

This year, in response to clients' suggestions, more sessions were led by clients who shared their best practices for working with VistaKEANE. Our thanks to the clients who went above and beyond to enrich the conference. One evaluation form said "client presentations were very informative - good to see what others are doing."

Educational sessions were grouped in four tracks by software applications: General Financials (AP, GL, Payroll, Materials Management), Clinicals, Technical, and Resident Account Management.

Annual Users' Group Meeting

The Keane Care Users' Group held their annual national meeting during the Keane Client Conference and elected officers. As a result of discussions at the meeting, a Users' Group listserv was started that gives members an ongoing way to communicate, including asking and answering each others' questions.
