KEANE CARE PRESS RELEASES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Keane Long-Term Care Users' Group members voted to expand the focus of the organization to include Sub-Committees centered on specific software applications.

The Keane LTC Users' Group invites staff from all facilities using the VistaKEANE system to participate in their organization.

The mission of the Keane LTC Users' Group is to provide input to ensure all the products used by Keane Long-Term Care clients meet the ongoing requirements of the continuing care community. The Users' Group is a self-governing body, independent of Keane.

Membership in the Users' Group is free and individuals determine their level of involvement.

Opportunities for participation include:

• Attending the annual national Users' Group meeting at the Keane Client Conference
  
  
• Joining Users' Group Sub-Committees focused on specific VistaKEANE applications: Resident Account Management, Clinical Applications, AP/GL, and Payroll
  
  
• Organizing regional and local users' groups
  
  
• Giving input on future direction for the software system
  
  
• Helping to set priorities for software enhancements

New Officers Elected

Laurie Hooks, Director of Clinical Information Solutions for Beverly Enterprises, and Sue Lounsbury, Systems Development and Training at Healthcare Associates, were elected Co-Chairs of the Keane Long-Term Care Users Group at its annual meeting during the 2002 Keane Client Conference

They replace founding Users' Group Co-Chairs Dave Fee, Senior Business Analyst with Life Care Centers of America, and Peggy Thomas, Vice President of Business Services, with LifeQuest.
